Pressure Testing Overview

WELDTECH provides testing and certification of pressure relief valves and pressure monitoring devices to the global oil and gas industry.

We have equipped workshop containers and laboratories with the latest testing and inspection equipment enabling our professionals, to work independent of the asset. For time critical projects (In-Situ), WELDTECH have developed portable mobile calibration units ready for air/ sea freight to offshore Rigs, FPSO’s or production facilities.

With a capacity of up to 36,000 psi, our teams are equipped with the skills and equipment to meet most client inspection and testing requirements.

Whether at our own laboratories or using one of our mobile testing units, WELDTECH only uses experienced, certified professionals to ensure the integrity of PRV’s and pressure monitoring devices. They are also internally certified with C-FOC( Certified For Operation Course) certification, which covers the whole aspect of inspection, certification and repair of the said subject in offshore and onshore facilities. Each test unit carries spare parts and replacements so that changes, repairs and upgrades can be carried out on the spot to minimize system down time.

WELDTECH ’s pressure testing is carried out in accordance with our specific risk assessment and written method statement in place prior to commencing testing operations.
